Apé'Robot - a common project of Workshop 4.0, Les Celliers de Sion and HEI!
Workshop 4.0, the School of Engineering (HEI) and Les Celliers de Sion have developed the first robot able to pour you a glass of wine. This new robot was first used during the 2020 Open Cellar Days in Valais.
In this project, the researchers of the HEI developed the Human-Machine-Interface used to process drink orders, the weighing electronics for filling the glasses and the high-level control logic for the robot (i.e. for choosing the correct wine glass or changing an empty bottle).
Watch this short presentation video with an interview of Dr Pierre-André Mudry, professor and researcher at the HEI.
